Hyperglycaemia in acute coronary syndromes
This clinical guideline updates 'Type 1 diabetes' (NICE clinical guideline 15) for the treatment of hyperglycaemia in inpatients with threatened or actual myocardial infarction, but not stroke. It offers evidence-based advice on managing hyperglycaemia within the first 48 hours in people admitted to hospital for acute coronary syndromes.
